Eligibility for services
In order to be eligible for services with Inclusive Behaviour, we need to be confident in our ability to provide you with evidence-based, high quality supports that meet your needs. We have professional and ethical obligations to only accept referrals that fall within our scope of competency. This means that we can only accept referrals if we have a staff member available who is considered proficient in supporting the specific needs of an individual, by having suitable education, training, supervised experience, and professional credentials in that area.

At present, our scope of competency is:

Please note that Inclusive Behaviour reserves the right to recommend alternative service providers in response to referrals that do not align with our values and professional responsibilities. This may include:
-
Referrals that are seeking a Behaviour Support Plan to document Restricted Practices as a formality or to ensure access to a service, without commitment to reduction/removal where appropriate and applicable.
-
Referrals that are seeking to impose Restricted Practices without consideration of least restrictive alternatives or without a Behaviour of Concern that requires a Restricted Practice is put in place.
We are currently not accepting referrals at this time.
Inclusive Behaviour is committed to providing effective, efficient and timely services where we provide support immediately after engagement. We do not believe in, or wish to make a system where, individuals and care teams wait for prolonged periods of time in the hope that services will eventually begin. In order to guarantee this to those we support, we operate with minimal to no waitlist and do not accept referrals where we do not have the capacity to engage as quickly, or attentively, as we believe we should.

Individuals and providers are instead encouraged to sign up to our service updates list (at the bottom of the page) to be notified of when referrals are being accepted for different services. If you are still seeking support at this time, you may submit a referral, and if accepted be prepared for immediate engagement.
